I had an interesting discussion with today with Lisa from ShopAmerica.co.nz. Lisa has some great ideas around finding ways to bring US products to New Zealand shores.
For anyone like myself who shops globally online from New Zealand it can be very difficult to find the few stores around the world that do actually ship internationally. I’m looking forward to seeing this type of thing come online through-out different industries in NZ with many more international shopping opportunities becoming viable as the NZD increases in value in comparison to the USD.
Local NZ Affiliates come across the same sort of problems when trying to find affiliate programs that will ship directly to NZ shores. Perhaps this type of site that’s working to bring off-shore products directly to NZ shores will become the next generation of retailing options for affiliates in NZ to promote international products while working with a local supplier?

I have recently been introduced to a company that has the Global Vision to make the world a better place one purchase at a time.
The company uses affiliate marketing to provide a Win-Win-Win-Win situation for Non-Profit organisations (with a goal to donate 1 billion dollars to World charities), Consumers (by offering cash rebates), Owners of Websites (by helping generate traffic and banner exchanges) and Home Business owners (by providing a realistic business opportunity).
It’s simple idea is to make a Global Shopping Mall with the difference that every purchase supports worthwhile causes.
As a consumer when shopping from the mall you are not only presented with the list of New Zealand stores but also those who ship to New Zealand. The bulk of these are of course Australian and American but this too will grow as the company expands into new different countries.
Although OurGV is VERY new in New Zealand having launched just last month, it already includes 6 of the New Zealand stores that run affiliate programs. OurGV currently has agreements with over 1400 stores world wide (including such names as eBay, Amazon.com, Rebel Sport, KMart) and this list is expected to grow each week as more stores add online shopping and affiliate programs.
I am currently working on an international client loyalty project that is already working in Europe and now we are expanding in the rest of the world. At the end of the year 2012 the program will be launched in New Zealand with a mass-media advertising campaign.
This project is based on affiliate marketing and for those that decide now to participate in this project will have time to develop a network until the official launch.
I intend to move to New Zealand until the end of the year and I am looking for partners there.
