Adsense Insider, the Google Adsense Group keeping advertiser up to date with developments has announced that it’s now possible to use a widget inside Blogger to add Adsense following each and every post within a blog;
We’ve heard your feedback about wanting to insert Google ads between your blog posts, and we’re happy to let you know that Blogger now supports this implementation through the AdSense widget.
This would appear to me to be breaking the Adsense terms which limit the number of instances of different formats of Adsense on any one page. If there are many posts on a page I would assume this would mean many copies of the Adsense advert thereby breaking their own conditions?
I have not yet seen the implementation of this so will check it out soon and follow-up to see if this is in fact what Adsense have done.
If it is, it seems like yet another step by Google to giving preferential treatment to people using Google’s own products to the point of breaking terms and conditions.

If you have the maximum of 3 links/3 content ads per blog url (which generally occurs if you configure your blogger blog to display more than 1 article post url), then any excess ads beyond the 3 allowed, will be absent from displaying when online. I have seen the effect in my blogger blogs, and is covered in depth at the blog tutorial: blogger tips and tricks.
In fact it’s better to configure blogger blogs to display only one post for adsense ads, if your blog does not have a specific topic/theme. That way adsense can generally serve better targeted relevant ads to that post. This is assuming that the blog owner does not select the newly added “interest” based ads in their adsense account.
Also, it’s better to embed google ads within your blog’s post directly (requires html editing – but plenty tutorials online). This allows you to track with assigned custom channels, which is useful for several blogs in terms of optimization placement. It also, as I have noticed increases click throughs, as the ads can be optionally blended with your body’s content.
Currently their is no channel tracking option, within adsense blogger widgets, but of course it’s easy to set up…
One of my buddies is always talking about your blog at work ā finally came and checked it out today, nice work! Iām subscribing to your rss feed ā keep on posting!
