The New Zealand Affiliate Programs and Affiliate Marketing blog came about after 5 years working (in part) in the international affiliate market. After shifting focus to work in the New Zealand online market I realised there was a distinct lack of information about affiliate programs for the New Zealand market.
Due to this lack of information as well as a generally low broadband up-take across the NZ market (particular because of the previous Telecom monopoly), affiliate programs were widely unknown by New Zealand webmasters. There were a few prominent exceptions and these few affiliates were all targeting the wider international market (usually the US) so there has been little time spent providing NZ specific affiliate information.
Hopefully this affiliate blog, forum and program list will go some way towards providing useful information to New Zealand webmasters and affiliate managers alike.
